The RYA one day Sea Survival course is recognised as a real lifesaver. Designed for small craft users the syllabus covers:-

  • how to use the safety equipment found on small vessels
  • liferafts, the equipment they contain and survival techniques
  • design of lifejackets
  • medical aspects of sea survival
  • search and rescue techniques
  • a practical session in the pool

TMS’ students are actively encouraged to experience the problems of entering and assisting the entrance of others into an inflated liferaft whilst in full foul- weather gear.

The full syllabus is contained in your RYA Logbooks G15 or G18. TMS will issue you with the RYA/DoT Small Craft Basic Sea Survival Certificate that is valid for commercial craft up to 24 metres.

TMS One Day Sea Survival Course Fees:

  • £110 per person (inclusive of VAT)
  • Minimum of 6 students, a maximum of 16
  • Discount for 10 or more students

TMS Fees Include:

  • All safety equipment (liferafts, lifejackets)
  • Foul weather gear
  • Use of a pool
  • Classroom facilities (projector etc)
  • Refreshments (coffee, soft drinks)

To confirm bookings, we require signed terms with a 10% deposit
